Welcome to REvisART Print Studio: Fine Art Reproduction for Artists, Built by a Gallerist
By Cassie Stone, Founder of REvisART ·
For eight years, I watched artists walk into my gallery with two things: strong original work, and reproductions that quietly undermined it.
The prints were on the wrong paper. The files were prepared by a lab that never asked what the print was for. There were no margins for matting, no thought given to how the print would sit on a rack or in a browser bin, no documentation behind the words "limited edition". The artist had paid real money for inventory she couldn't confidently sell.
Here is the thing I could never say gently enough from behind the desk: printing was never the problem. Guidance was. Every one of those artists had done her best with a self-serve upload form that never asked a single question about her work.
Today that gap gets an answer. The REvisART Print Studio is officially open. A nationwide, fully remote, concierge print shop for working artists. It joins the Agency and the Academy as the third division of REvisART, and it exists to do one thing: turn your artwork into sale-ready inventory, prepared the way a gallery would prepare it, with someone beside you for every decision along the way.
What "concierge" actually means
Most print services are self-serve. You upload a file, pick from a wall of options, and hope.
Nobody tells you which paper suits your work, what size actually sells, or why your margins matter. If the file has a problem, the print has a problem, and it becomes yours at delivery.
The Print Studio works the way a gallery works with a framer or a master printer: with a person on the other side who knows the answers and shares them. An ordering process stripped down to the decisions that matter, focused on the artwork instead of a configurator. Print-ready file setup on every order, sizing, cropping, and margins made simple, not left to your export settings, with professional file prep and color correction available when a file calls for it. Archival papers selected for the job: Premium Archival Matte for open editions and retail stock, museum-grade Hahnemühle Baryta for limited editions.
And because we would rather build capable artists than dependent customers, we explain the why as we go. Why this paper. Why that margin. Why an edition should be sized the way it is. Every order should leave you knowing more about your own reproduction strategy than the last one did.
Order your way: à la carte, or one of our expertly curated print packages
Everything the Studio prints is available à la carte. Fine art paper prints from 5x7 up, rolled canvas, gallery wrap canvas, canvas panels, acrylic pieces, matting, any size, any quantities, across as many artworks as you like. If you know exactly what you need, order exactly that, and we are still beside you for every paper and sizing question along the way.
The print packages exist for a different moment: when you want a complete, gallery-considered print run of one artwork without configuring anything. Each package covers one piece, start to finish.
The Artist Starter Package, $179. Ten archival prints of one artwork: five 8x10 and five 11x14, the two sizes that sell first everywhere from studio visits to holiday markets. If you have never offered prints, this is your first run. Print-ready file prep and color correction included, nothing to configure.
The Open Edition Packages, $239 and $595. The Mid-Tier stocks a small line: ten 11x14 or five 16x20. The Top-Tier is the volume run: thirty 11x14 or twenty 16x20, priced with a genuine volume break for artists filling a booth, a shop, or a real resale inventory.
The Limited Edition Launch Packages, $1,295 and $1,695. A signed, numbered limited edition is not a print run. It is an event in your market, and it should be treated like one. These packages pair museum-grade reproduction with the strategy layer: edition sizing, documentation, provenance, and archival file storage. Standard and large format.
Why prints belong in your pricing architecture
A working artist's prices should form a ladder. Originals at the top. Works on paper in the middle. Prints at the most accessible rung, the $40 purchase that lets a new buyer say yes to you for the first time.
That first yes matters more than its price tag. The collector who buys a print this year is the one who asks about the original next year. Galleries have always known this. It is why the back room has a print bin. Prints are not a compromise; they are collector development at its earliest stage.
But the ladder only works if the bottom rung is built to professional standard. An underprepared print doesn't just lose a sale, it teaches the buyer to doubt the rungs above it.
